Payment & Refund Policy

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Due to the personalized nature of MERIT services, all sales are final once the Strategy Session has been completed.

Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, scheduling, or participating in any MERIT service, the client acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them. These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between MERIT and the client. If a client cancels prior to the scheduled session, any applicable refund or credit will be determined in accordance with the Scheduling & Cancellation Policy below.

Coaching Agreement

The Coaching Agreement provided by MERIT is intended to explain the coaching process, expectations, and client experience. It is provided for informational purposes and does not require a separate signature.

Scheduling & Cancellation Policy

Clients may reschedule a scheduled session with at least 24 hours’ notice at no additional charge.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice, may result in forfeiture of the session fee.

If MERIT must reschedule a session for any reason, every effort will be made to accommodate the client’s schedule at the earliest available opportunity.

Intellectual Property

All content and materials provided by MERIT, including but not limited to the MERIT name and logo, the MERIT Professional Blueprint™, reports, worksheets, templates, presentations, methodologies, graphics, written content, and website materials, are the exclusive intellectual property of MERIT and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

The MERIT Professional Blueprint™ is provided exclusively for the personal use of the individual client. It may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, published, shared, resold, or used for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of MERIT.

Nothing contained within any coaching session, consultation, or deliverable transfers ownership of MERIT’s intellectual property to the client.

No Guarantee of Results

MERIT provides leadership consulting, coaching, and professional development services intended to support each client’s growth and preparation for future opportunities.

MERIT does not guarantee promotions, employment, job offers, interview results, assessment center outcomes, business success, salary increases, or any other specific professional outcome. Individual results will vary based on each client’s preparation, implementation, qualifications, and circumstances.

Client Responsibility

Clients acknowledge that coaching and consulting are collaborative processes. Clients are solely responsible for the decisions they make and the actions they choose to take as a result of any coaching session, consultation, recommendation, or information contained within the MERIT Professional Blueprint™.

MERIT provides guidance and recommendations designed to support professional growth; however, implementation and results remain the responsibility of the client.

Confidentiality

MERIT is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of every client. Information shared during coaching sessions will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or with the client’s express written permission.
